We have literally completed THOUSANDS of eyebrow procedures!
Has the backside of your eyebrows thinned and the "tail" area gone away?
Have you previously plucked your eyebrows to shape them and had the hair not return?
Is your existing eyebrow hair present but to light to see?
Permanent eyebrows can be tattooed utilizing 3 to 4 different types of techniques. There are a lot of different terms today floating around on the internet, but the facts are that there are only a few ways to actually do a brow procedure!
The most common, "hair stroke" brows are also commonly called today "microblading". This natural looking technique utilizes individually tattooed "hairs'’ in the areas of the brow that are sparse or missing hair. The technique in which the look of "hair-like" eyebrows can be achieved from a handheld device or a rotary tattoo machine. Newly trained providers are now starting to use the term "nano-brows" to create brows with machines. We at Le Beau Visage have been using machines for over 16 years to do JUST THAT!
The technique is NOT new...but the media attention is!
There will be "new" words coming across social media platforms. They will be discussing "machine" brows, "Nano-Brows" or other similar words as the newer microblading artists begin to learn about machine work. Machine work is safer, better and it lasts longer BUT it isn't easy to do! You should trust your brows to someone that has done thousands of brows with this technique!
It is very common for clients to come to Le Beau Visage to seek assistance with their eyebrows. Have you ever considered how easy your life would be if you didn't have to bother with drawing on your eyebrows and simply had your brow color implanted, hair by hair? In as little as 2 hours the days of getting your eyebrows to match are forever history!
Eyebrows are the most requested procedure and people come from miles away to have their brows done at Le Beau Visage. There can be several medical reasons for the need for permanent eyebrow tattooing, some which include alopecia, autoimmune disorders, chemotherapy, hormonal imbalances, ageing, thyroid problems and over plucking resulting in damage to the hair follicle. Unfortunately, eyebrow hair follicles are the slowest growing and most easily damaged follicles on our body.
Permanent eyebrow application can add fullness and definition to thin or sparse eyebrows. Tattooed color can be utilized behind existing hair which is not dark enough or defined well. Permanent eyebrows frame your eyes and lend expression to your face. Those with alopecia (no eyebrow hair) are truly excited at the results of this procedure.
Some clients obtain 100% freedom from eyebrow make-up application, while others may use their newly designed eyebrows for a permanent template. Our clients are so excited to hear that there is an alternative technique to a solid filled eyebrow available at Le Beau Visage. The solid-filled eyebrow look that is achieved when eyebrows are penciled on the skin, is a dated tattoo technique that was previously used over 20 years ago for permanent eyebrow application.
Our digital precision technique utilizes individual hair strokes to simulate the natural eyebrow hair color of the brow, with every effort made to make the brow look as natural as possible. Finding a cosmetic tattooing specialist that is trained in the individual hair-stroke eyebrow technique, with years of experience can be difficult; most technicians use a solid filled brow. Michelle, owner of Le Beau Visage is thankful to be among the few technicians that have utilized this beautiful and natural brow look since 2005. She has many years of experience designing brows and making each eyebrow case unique for YOUR face.
If you have every considered the convenience of not having to add powder to your brows, draw on your brows or fill in areas within the brow, then seeking a consultation about permanent cosmetic eyebrow enhancement is for you! Everyone loves permanent eyebrows.... "They look just like hair"!
Testimonial:
"What a difference! I love having brows!! You did such an amazing job! I still laugh about how I just turned over control to you without even knowing you and never even questioned the shape or anything!! That is a testimonial to your welcoming persona......" --Shelly, Antioch, CA
Does your eyeliner smear around your eye or disappear?
Do your eyes tear and wash away your eyeliner?
Do you have fair eyelashes that do not give definition to your eye shape?
Do you have beautiful eyes that are lost on your face without eyeliner?
You are going to be excited about permanent eyeliner! This procedure is good for those that have difficulty with makeup details due to movement, trouble seeing up close to apply eyeliner, or are just tired of daily application of eyeliner. No more pulling on delicate eye tissue to apply or remove your eyeliner.
Imagine not having smeared or smudged eyeliner. For beautifully defined eyes or delicate eyelash enhancement, permanent eyeliner is your answer. The color is applied using an applicator specially designed for facial cosmetic tattooing. This instrument gives us the highest degree of control for fine detailed work. Permanent eyeliner is applied with sterile supplies and topical anesthetics. Michelle utilized custom surgical eye magnification to allow for fine and precise eyeliner.
A more natural line can be applied during your initial visit. Later, if you decide to increase the thickness and/or darken your liner we can do that during your follow-up visit (within 4-6 weeks). Topical anesthetic is applied to provide anesthesia to the eyelids and make the procedure more comfortable. Immediately, after the procedure your eyelids will be puffy and slightly red around the tattooed area. The amount of swelling varies from client to client but usually everyone leaves looking as your eyes would after having a good cry.
Your permanent eyeliner will appear thicker and darker initially. As the area heals you'll notice some of the color (scabs) flaking off which usually occurs during the first week. This is normal and to be expected. You will be thrilled with the convenience of this procedure!
Testimonal:
"Michelle is fantastic and a perfectionist in her work! I had my eyeliner, eyebrows and lip liner done and I rate Le Beau with 10 stars. Her individual hair stroke technique on my eyebrows is far superior to other "painted" techniques that are used. My eyeliner looks natural... it's there... my eyes are enhanced, yet I don't look "hard" or made up. And my lip liner is a great enhancer to help define my lips as well." --Tamala, Paradise, CA
Does your lipstick fade or smear as the day goes on?
Have your lips lost definition or color and now seem like they blend into your face?
Do your lips appear less "plump" than they used to 15 years ago?
Are your lips not equally balanced on the right and left side?
Imagine having lip color morning through night, 24 hours a day, throughout the year. Permanent lip color can give you the illusion of fuller looking lips without the painful and temporary injection of collagen.
Permanent lip color can be applied using several different methodologies. Depending on your personal preference, lip color can be applied only as a lip line to reshape and contour lips for a more defined sensual look. My favorite and what many clients are deciding to have is the lip line slightly blended into the lips for a softer appearance. Another option is to have the entire lip filled with color for a more lipstick effect. You can chose colors that match your natural lip color or more vibrant lipstick tones. Selecting a color is a process that takes into account your natural lip color, your skin color, your lip shape and the desired base color. Lip procedures can be painless! No more waiting for topically applied anesthesia that is incomplete to fully numb the lips. Let Le Beau Visage makes uncomfortable lip procedures a thing of the past!
Immediately after the procedure the color will appear darker and brighter than expected, but usually fades up to 20 to 35 percent within 4 to 6 weeks. Your lips may feel sore for several days and slightly chapped for several weeks so be sure to keep them well moisturized with the recommended lip balm which is available at Le Beau Visage. Around the 10th day the treated area may look as if the color has completely vanished. Your lips will likely go through several color changes. About the 14th to 16th day the color appears to resurface. In approximately 6 weeks, a touch up is completed to put on the finishing touches.
* It is important to note that anyone considering a lip procedure needs to inform your technician if you have ever had any history of a herpetic outbreak.
With the latest "buzz" about eyebrow microblading, here is some important information from the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. Le Beau Visage Permanent Cosmetics has been providing "hair-like" permanent eyebrows since 2005 and pride ourselves on custom designed, fit for your face permanent digitally microbladed eyebrows.
Microblading Fact Sheet
Is it tattooing?
With the sudden popularity and media attention to the term microblading, many are led to believe microblading is not a tattoo process. Permanent cosmetics, micropigmentation, dermal implantation, microblading/microstroking, eyebrow embroidery, and long-time/long-lasting makeup, are all different names for the same procedure – cosmetic tattooing. Any time color is placed into the skin with any device, it is a tattoo process as defined by many well informed regulators, the medical community, and dictionary sources.
Is a blade being used to perform the microblading tattoo procedure?
Microblading is performed with a grouping or configurations of needles affixed to a handle to manually create lines that resemble eyebrow hairs. Manual methods of tattooing have been used through the ages, and the tools have gone through changes over time from pre-historic sharpened stones to the hand tool devices currently being used. An actual scalpel or cutting-type blade should not be used under any circumstances as these are considered medical devices and cannot legitimately be used for this process. Any hand tool device (i.e., both handle and attached needles) used for microblading should be pre-sterilized and fully disposable.
Is it Semi-Permanent?
Some are promoting microblading as a semi-permanent process; and that the color only reaches the epidermal (outer) layer of the skin. A careful review of basic skin anatomy and physiology would reveal this is not true. By definition and tattoo industry standards, color is tattooed/implanted into the dermis of the skin. If pigment particles do not reach the dermis, they will disappear during the healing phase of the skin, during normal regeneration of cells at the epidermal level. Pigments do fade in the skin over time, but that does not make the process semi-permanent. It is impossible to predict exactly how much pigment will fade because of factors beyond our control once the client completes there procedure and leaves the office the pigment is now subject to conditions such as sun exposure, facial products, etc.
Why does microblading not last as long as other eyebrow tattooing techniques?
This is simply because a much smaller amount of pigment is inserted (tattooed) into the skin as compared to fully or solidly filled eyebrow tattoos. However, with our advanced techniques we can offer naturally enhanced, timeless, hair-like brows that far outlast our competitors.
Is there less training needed to learn microblading as compared to learning permanent cosmetics?
No; if someone is new to the industry and does not already have a minimum of 100 hours of training in permanent cosmetics, they need to have a similar amount of training in microblading, even if it is for just that one type of procedure. There are many areas of study when learning these techniques, which include facial morphology and bone structure, brow shaping and design, color analysis, color theory, proper handling of equipment, prevention of cross-contamination, as well as practice work and the opportunity to observe procedures before actually performing them under supervision.
Unfortunately today, many people practicing microblading have received little to NO training.
When interviewing providers for permanent cosmetics, be sure they are providing you with information about training and education, number of procedures performed, knowledge on how to correct errors should they occur, etc. Unfortunately being "certified" in this industry does not mean that an individual has shown proficiency in the skills required to have a satisfactory result. Sadly, many 'certified" in microblading artists have only attended a 2-day course with no previous experience required.
Your solution to hair loss and thinning hair! This amazing technique provides hair simulation in the areas of the scalp where hair is thinning/missing. This procedure can replicate the look of a shaved head for males with thinning hair or male pattern baldness. This is done by tattooing VERY tiny color matching "follicles" into the scalp to simulate hair. This amazing procedure can change your life and your confidence. Entire scalps can be treated or just small areas of thinning hair.
We are proud to operate our SMP services also through our sister-corporation, North State Scalp Center. Information for North State Scalp Center can further be found at www.NSScalp.com or by calling (530) 332-8000.
Permanent cosmetics placed by an experienced technician like Michelle at Le Beau Visage are aware of the necessary factors which can influence a less than desirable result over time. With the use of the proper products and techniques, color and design correction concerns are nearly eliminated completely in today's industry. Unfortunately, this knowledge was not known "years ago" and therefore some people are now left with unfavorable permanent make-up.
Even today, many technicians are not experienced in the area of color corrections, lightening and removal. At Le Beau Visage Permanent Cosmetics, we evaluate every client's specific concerns when they come to us for assistance in correcting unwanted colors or designs.
It's not as simple as placing the new color over the old unwanted color and expecting that "fugitive" color to never return, nor is it possible to place a skin color over a mistake without expecting some long term problems as that color fades also.... Now what?
You are in luck because with Michelle's advanced education with color corrections and color theory, she will be able to evaluate your color concerns and discuss what options there are for a new and more natural color. YES, these unwanted colors, poor placement/shaping can be fixed!
If you have had permanent make-up that has yielded an unfavorable result, call Le Beau Visage today for a complimentary consultation to discuss how corrections are preformed.
Re-designing permanent make-up that has been placed incorrectly into the skin permanently can be tricky work. Eyebrows are often placed asymmetrically, one higher than the other, one thinner or one longer than the other side.
Correcting the design of the brow is possible, depending on the original placement of the brows. Often times we can redesign the brows to give a more favorable appearance. This is often a multi-step process, so patience are required BUT...there is hope!
Eyeliner that is not straight or incorrectly placed or lip color or liner that has failed to do what the original expected outcome was can also be evaluated to see what options there are. Consider a complimentary consultation to determine if your permanent make-up can be corrected to give it a more satisfying result.
Consultations: Initial consultations for permanent cosmetic application are complimentary and take about 30 minutes. It is necessary to meet with all new permanent cosmetic and medical tattooing clients prior to any scheduled procedures. If you are traveling more than 100 miles, please inform us.
The cost for permanent cosmetic application procedures varies greatly at Le Beau Visage, depending on the type of procedure performed and is quoted at the time of consultation.

This is a way to look really glamorous fast! Eyelash extensions are an exciting technique for thicker, longer, and naturally abundant looking eyelashes. Eyelashes are made thicker and longer through professional application of an individual synthetic mink eyelash extension directly attached to the natural eyelash with our specially formulated bonding agent. These individual eyelashes will grow out with your real lashes. The entire application process takes approximately two hours to apply to both eyes. Each individual extension is applied lash by lash to your existing natural eyelashes. Most people do not elect to use or even need mascara, however, if you do wish to use mascara we only recommend using our recommended lash mascara to not adversely effect the bonding process and retention of your lashes.
Professional Use:
Eyelash extensions are for professional use only and must be applied by a professional trained in applying eyelash extensions. Before having eyelash extensions applied, make sure your eyelash extension professional has completed a valid training program to ensure the highest level of quality training and verification of licensing. Applying professional eyelash extensions to your own lashes is not recommended and may result in discomfort or injury.
Professional Quality:
Professional eyelash extensions are semi-permanent eyelash extensions that can last up to 2 months depending on the life cycle of your own natural eyelashes and other factors your professional will review with you at your first eyelash extension consultation/appointment. Though the average cycle of a single lash is about 90-120 days, factors such as your eyelash characteristics, lifestyle and general care of your eyelashes will affect how long your lashes will last.
Appearance:
Eyelash extensions come in various lengths, colors and thickness to create a beautiful and natural look. Some clients prefer a more natural look while others like a dramatic and ultra-glamorous lash design. Lash eyelash extensions come in brilliant colors, such as blue, green, violet, purple, and red to accentuate the natural beauty and color of one's natural eye color and natural eyelashes.
Natural Feel:
When professionally and properly applied, you cannot feel any difference after having your eyelashes enhanced with professional eyelash extensions. If you do feel a difference, then your eyelash extensions were not properly applied and you need to contact your professional immediately.
Natural Wear:
Shower, swim or spa worry free. When properly applied, extensions can last up to two months, depending on your own natural eyelash growth cycle. You will need to refrain from getting your eyelash extensions wet for the first 24 hours after your application to allow your lash adhesive to "set" completely. You will also be provided with after care instructions by your eyelash extension professional so you will know exactly how to care for your new extensions.
Testimonial:
"I have been getting eyelash extensions through Le Beau Visage Permanent Cosmetics for awhile now and I am truly pleased with them. I get so many compliments of my eyes now too and I haven't had that happen since I was much younger. I have reached a point in my life where having to wear even just mascara was a bit "much" and yet going anywhere without at least mascara on made me feel self conscious. Having the eyelash extensions enables me to go totally make-up-less with confidence and has made my life so much easier. These lashes are great, plus at Le Beau Visage Permanent Cosmetics does a fabulous job keeping them full and gorgeous for me. I happily recommend them to everyone I meet!" ~T, Chico Ca
Information About Properly Applied Lash Extensions:
The media and lack of experience for eyelash technicians occasionally raise questions regarding the effects of eyelash extensions on natural lashes. Unfortunately, many of the reports have not included complete facts and in depth information on the subject. PROPERLY APPLIED professional eyelash extensions do NOT cause damage to natural lashes. Situations where damage has been or can be done to the natural lashes are typically caused by unfortunate scenarios. Please click here for information from Xtreme Lashes and to know more about the concerns for properly placing lash extensions.
It is VERY important for our clients to receive a high level of professionalism and service. Be at ease knowing your lash stylist is professional trained in the proper placement of lash extensions for your health and safety.
Permanent cosmetics completed at another facility is considered a new client to Le Beau Visage Permanent Cosmetics. We always start with a consultation to ensure that the required treatment to make your permanent make-up fresh again is discussed.
